
Dale Earnhardt, Inc. (DEI) is a diverse corporation
specializing in NASCAR-related ventures. Based on a 350-acre facility in Mooresville, NC,
DEI currently fields NASCAR Winston Cup teams for Dale Earnhardt Jr., Steve Park, and
Michael Waltrip. With more than 200,000 square feet of workspace encompassing four
separate facilities, DEI is considered by many of racing's insiders to be one of the
benchmarks from which others are judged.
DEI secured four NASCAR championships in five
seasons in the Busch Series and the Craftsman Truck Series, and DEI drivers Dale Earnhardt
Jr. and Steve Park combined to win four Winston Cup races during the 2000 season. DEI
drivers Michael Waltrip and Earnhardt Jr. also finished 1-2 in the 2001 Daytona 500.
DEI was founded by seven-time NASCAR Winston
Cup champion Dale Earnhardt and is currently headed by Teresa Earnhardt.
